About This Quote
Nelson Mandela said, “Human nature defeats me sometimes, how greed and spite can lurk so divisively around the utmost courage and sacrifice.” This quote is about the bad things in human nature that make our hearts go bad. Greed and spite are two of the worst traits in human nature. Sometimes people will do things for their own selfish reasons instead of because they really want to help someone. The fact is that people can do mean things to each other without any real reason behind it.
They are just hoping to hurt someone else without the person they are hurting knowing that they are doing it. People are not always nicer when it comes to friendship either. They may treat each other badly for no reason at all instead of being nice.
